Account Security Best Practices for TCG Mark
Protecting your TCG Mark account keeps your personal information, payment methods, and order history safe. Follow these account security best practices to prevent unauthorized access and keep your trading card marketplace experience secure.
Use a strong, unique password
When you create your account with an email and password, choose something that would be hard for anyone else to guess.
A strong password:
Is at least 8 characters long
Includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
Is not reused on any other website
The easiest way to manage strong, unique passwords is to use a password manager like 1Password, Bitwarden, or the one built into your phone or browser.
To change your password:
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select Manage Account.
Go to the Security tab.
Select Change password.
Sign in with Google or Apple for added security
Instead of managing a separate password, you can sign in to TCG Mark using your existing Google or Apple account. This is a strong security option because:
You do not need to create or remember a separate password
Google and Apple have robust security features built in
Apple lets you hide your email address for extra privacy
Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of protection. Even if someone learns your password, they cannot access your account without the verification code from your phone.
To enable 2FA:
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select Manage Account.
Go to the Security tab.
Follow the on-screen steps to connect an authenticator app.
Watch out for phishing scams
Fake emails asking you to verify your account — always check that links go to tcgmark.com
Urgent warnings like "Your account will be closed in 24 hours" — real alerts won't rush you
Messages asking for direct payment — all payments go through secure checkout
TCG Mark will never ask for your password by email, chat, or any other message.
